Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Montgomery County Roadside. By requesting or receiving our roadside assistance services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they outline both your responsibilities as a customer and our responsibilities as your service provider.

Services Provided

Montgomery County Roadside offers the following services within Montgomery County, Maryland, and surrounding areas: Tire changes and minor tire repairs Jump starts and battery replacements (customer pays for replacement battery, if needed).  Lockout assistance (non-destructive entry methods when possible). Fuel delivery (cost of fuel not included in service fee). General roadside assistance as reasonably offered We do not provide towing or major mechanical repairs.

Service Limitations

 Services are provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive to respond quickly, response times may vary due to traffic, weather, location, or other conditions beyond our control. Service is not guaranteed in unsafe locations (e.g., highways without safe shoulders, restricted-access areas). In such cases, we will advise you to contact local authorities. Lockout services are performed with care, but we are not liable for minor cosmetic damage that may occur during entry attempts on certain vehicle types.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information about their location, vehicle, and situation. • Customers must ensure their vehicle is in a safe position before requesting service. Customers are responsible for all costs of replacement parts, fuel, batteries, and tires unless otherwise stated. Customers must comply with local traffic laws and remain with their vehicle unless directed otherwise.

Liability & Disclaimer

Montgomery County Roadside is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from service delays, inability to provide service, or unsuccessful service. We are not responsible for pre-existing vehicle damage, hidden mechanical issues, or failures unrelated to the roadside service provided. Battery jump-starts and fuel delivery are provided at the customer’s own risk; Montgomery County Roadside is not responsible for any resulting damage or mechanical issues. Our maximum liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service provided. 

Payments & Refunds

Payment is due upon completion of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. All payments are final. Refunds may be issued only at our sole discretion in cases where service was not rendered.

Safety

We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe for our technicians or if the customer behaves in a threatening or unlawful manner.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Any disputes will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Montgomery County, Maryland.

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the effective date.
